WE WELCOME Piper Birgitte, daughter of Peter and Denise Jaffe, into the Parish Community of Saint Philip Neri Church. Piper was baptized last Sunday.
The Society of St. Vincent dePaul will be at St. Philip Neri Church on Wednesday, March 10 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM to collect donations of usuable men’s, women’s and children’s clothing. They will also be accepting small household goods (beds and bath linens/pots/pans/dishes/cooking utensils/toys/books and small appliances in good working order. You are invited to take all donations to the Society’s trailer in the parking lot. Tax receipts are available upon request. Men's Prayer Group
Men of different ages meet every Wednesday morning in the Rectory Conference Room from 7:30 to 8:30. There are no experts, just men searching for a deeper relationship with God. If you are interested in joining and wish more information, call Duane McCarthy at 610.825.5237.
Women's Prayer Group
Please consider joining our Women's Prayer Group. We meet from 10:00 to 11:00 AM every Thursday morning in the Chapel. We would be glad to have you join us.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Do you worship with us on Sundays, but cannot join us at the Lord's Table because you never formally became a member of the Catholic Church? Do you have a parish friend or neighbor who fits this description? The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) invites you or your neighbor to explore the Catholic Faith more deeply by calling the Parish Religious Education Office at 610-834-9868 or e-mailing conjmcgee@yahoo.com. Frozen Casseroles for St. John's Hospice
Could you find time to make a casserole for the homeless at St. John's? Pans, lids and recipes are available in the Church Office and at Barbara McCarthy's (610-828-2058). Frozen casseroles are brought to Barbara's house before 9:00 AM on the first Wednesday of the month. Please consider this work of mercy in your busy schedule. They are greatly needed and appreciated
Children's Liturgy
Please have your children (ages 4-9) join us on Sundays at 10:00 AM in the Preschool Building for a Children's Liturgy instruction. Children will hear the Gospel in terms that they can understand and relate to in their daily lives.

“Never-ending Story”
Want to know your part in God's Never-ending Story? Come and find out at the Teen Convocation on Sunday, March 7 (11:30 am to 5:30 PM) at Archbishop Carroll High School. Teens from throughout the Archdiocese will gather for fun, good music, food and faith. Sunday Mass will be celebrated with Bishop Timothy Senior. Fee of $20 includes lunch and snacks. Special Lenten Event
On Sunday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m., the Franciscan Mystery Players of Sewell, NJ will visit St. Philip Neri Church for a presentation of The Way of the Cross. A group of twelve high school students and four adults offer this dramatic multi-media presentation of the Passion and Death of our Lord. Through the use of special lighting, inspirational music, drama, and soul-searching meditations, the play becomes a very unique and prayerful vehicle for the Lord’s spirit to forgive, heal and renew. It’s an exceptional, moving experience that you won’t want to miss!
Think About It! Adult Faith Formation
The SPN AFF Book Club will continue on February 10 with Dangerous Memories: A Mosaic of Mary in Scripture by Elizabeth A. Johnson. The book gives an extensive treatment of each biblical passage that speaks of Mary in the Gospels. For the next meeting please read pages 38-83. Other sessions will be February 24, and March 10, 24. Come learn the riches of the greatest story ever told in the Bible Timeline Study being offered at St. Philips in the School Hall beginning Thursday, February 11 from 7-8:30. Concert of Sacred Music Featuring the Philadelphia Priest Singers celebrate the “Year of the Priest” at a “Concert of Sacred Music” featuring the Archdiocesan All Catholic Secondary Chorus, the Keystone Boys Choir, and the “Philadelphia Priest Singers” a group of our Archdiocesan priests singing sacred music from our heritage. One-time performance will be held on Thursday, March 25 at 7:30 PM in the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Limited tickets are available beginning on February 8. Intramural Basketball League
Sign ups are now taking place for all Saint Philip Neri parishioners in the 3rd and 4th grades. There will be separate leagues for both the boys and girls. All games are played at our gym on Thursdays and Sundays, and the season runs from March through mid-April. Registrations must be received no later than Tuesday and the cost is $25.
