Please join us this Advent Season with a traditional service of nine scripture readings accompanied by choral anthems sung by the choir and hymns sung by the choir and congregation.

At King’s College, Cambridge, Lessons and Carols was first sung one month after the Armistice that brought World War 1 to an end.

After the procession of the choir and singing of Once in Royal David’s City, there follows just over an hour of lessons and carols. Together, these lessons, the carols, and the hymns proclaim the great arc of the human story from the mystery of the Fall to the greater mystery of the Incarnation of the Child Jesus.
