Msgr. Vance Retirement Mass/Dinner - 5-1-2022

It is with mixed emotions that we send this update to all the parishioners of St. Philip Neri Church.

Msgr. Vance has decided to retire after 52 years of service to the sacred priesthood and 22 years of being our Pastor here at St. Philip Neri Church. Words cannot adequately express the loss we will all feel not having Msgr. Vance leading us daily, his dedication and sound management of the Parish and School, the multitude of baptisms he has performed bringing new children into the Church, the care and sympathy he provides when burying the beloved members of our families, the weddings he has joyfully performed starting new couples off on their new journey together through life, and the countless other acts he performs being our spiritual leader. To say the least, Msgr. Vance has had a wonderful impact on all our lives for the past 22 years.

Please join us to celebrate Msgr. Vance's long and dedicated history here at St. Philip's. We are planning a Mass and Dinner on Sunday, May 1, 2022 to celebrate Msgr.'s dedicated service to St. Philip‘s. Mass will be at 3:00 PM with a reception and dinner to follow at Presidential Caterers in Norristown. Ticket purchase information for the dinner is included on the reverse of this letter.

The dinner is a first come first serve event as we have a limited capacity at Presidential Caterers, and we expect tickets will sell out fast. Ticket reservations and payments will be accepted starting on Monday, March 28th at 8:00 AM.

If you have questions, please contact Michael Pastorius in the Church Office (610-834-1975).
