St. PHILIP NERI PARISH MUSIC MINISTRY MISSION STATEMENT

Ubi Musica, Ibi Dominus!

The Music Ministry of St. Philip Neri Parish seeks to glorify God and enrich our community through sacred music that inspires prayer, unites hearts, and draws us closer to God. Embracing voices of all ages, we nurture musical gifts and foster a spirit of unity. In shared devotion, we celebrate faith, hope, and love in harmony.

Choirs and Ensembles

• Adult Choir — Rehearsals on Tuesdays, 6:30–8:30 PM in the Church Chapel (September–Corpus Christi Sunday). Sings approximately twice a month at parish liturgies.
• Youth Music Ministry (Y.M.M.) — Youth instrumentalists supporting liturgical celebrations.
• Vox Lumina Strings — College and young adult string ensemble supporting parish liturgies and special events.

Parish Schola

A growing ensemble of high school, college, and young adult voices where new members are warmly welcomed.

• Vox Lumina (Voice of Light) — College and young adult vocal ensemble serving at monthly Masses, special liturgies, and parish programs throughout the year.
• Vox Lumina Jr. — High school vocalists in training.
• Schola Cantorum — Auditioned adult SATB ensemble for the Christmas Concert and Tenebrae.
